| My story |
Mmmh, it's a beautiful thing, but there are bits that have been hard.
The nature of growing up is that we reach adult hood with scars.
Traditional psychotherapy will go back to the dim and dark memories, get you to talk them through, cry, beat your chest, cry at some "deaf heaven" and then get on with it. theory is good, prac is that it's not as easy as that. the remembering alone can set you back and just re-boot that view of your self.
there is another way...being aware of your scars, your deep core beliefs about your self, the ones that hold you back or shape your behaviour today.
Then when they pop up, be ready to challenge them. This is a much gentler approach that allows you to overwrite your story, one day at a time.
