Start of the week

Begining of the week, lets try to set up a Betta Day.
Start by setting your path.

So that consists of
What's giving me the shits?
What do I need to notice? -Whats giving you the sh-!-ts?

-Brainstorm baby:
  • Messy house.
  • 3 projects stalling.
  • Headache
  • Day dreaming instead of getting on with it...
  • Starting to invent new products.
  • Watching news, social media
  • Blank in head but feeling pressure of time.
  • Tax


Daily habits of coping -what's the cost?


OK muddled kinda list -?no.
Take out daily habits of coping ie stuff you're doing because your overloaded.

Daydreaming -definitely a comfort, kinda addresses vulnerability. 
And the cost? 
Time+++, get behind, so more distressed, so need it more and spend day in bed. then I'm really disappointed.
So it's kinda high cost?
Yep.
Starting to invent new products -a way I try and get my self excited and energised, kinda crashes through the inertia.
And the cost? Sidetracked, but if in my projects list can push them forward and get me going, increase my confidence and then I can start getting back on track ie don't end up in bed "resting".
So... low to medium cost if it doesn't bolt and consume the whole day, taking you on a tangent.
Yep.
Watching news and social media -trying to give myself a sense of control over how country is run, level of connectivity of projects.
And the cost?
Low to medium I think, as I can get back to stuff quite quickly if I don't get sucked in. More a risk to progress as it stops the flow and a ready made distraction.

OK how's the list:

OK so we want to pull it down to 3 and if you pull out the symptoms ie headache and feeling blank with pressure of time that leaves just three real things giving you the sh-1-ts:
  1. 3 projects stalling
  2. Messy house
  3. Tax
What do I need to sort? If a miracle happened how would I manage these better?

With this phase it's important to bring the control back to us so, rather than the miracle being in the outside world, it would be in us. What needs to change in us to manage the 3 problems better?
What do I need to do? What are the three things I can do to make the problems better?
  1. Clarify my "Next possible action" list for the week for the 3 projects.
  2. Write a week's schedule for reigning the house back in with some possible hired help.
  3. Schedule a dedicated day this week for Tax, ?tomorrow (Yuk!)

So I guess that sets up the week and can be reviewed and modified in a micro way daily.
Cutting out the high cost Coping Habits and managing the stress symptoms helped me keep my eye on the ball.
Time for a Betta Day.
