Daily Set Up

Getting the day set up right is crucial.
Best sort the body first before bounding off with the mind.
Start with a clean slate.
Creating space in the morning is a good space.
Unless of course your hung over from the night before.
Before any killer to do lists start the clock ticking, it's a good idea to start on your 10,000 steps -it's a simultaneously brilliant body and mind flipper.
While you're at it lets supercharge it with some tall winner posture.
First, think about the person you need to be today.
"Different strokes for different blokes."
I'm away on a  FIFO work assignment with a mob I previously worked with. It's a quick in and out.
Last gig went well, and I want to repeat the task this time.
So, today...
I want to take good care of my patients.
I want to reengage the team, and I want to stay on task.

I'm excited to be here, so I could easily get off task, chatting etc.
So,The person I need to be is calm, confident and friendly. I need to be on top of my game and enjoying it.
So that's how I'm going to go right nowadays I do my morning walk, I have to find that pose within myself and hold it for two minutes.
It helps to imagine myself as I walk through the day doing a great job interacting.
Running the movie in my head as I hold this posture helps.
It has to be based in reality, an estimation of how I would be in a way that is authentic to me on a kick arse day.
Try it yourself...figure out what's required of you to have a kick arse day and then walk and talk that way.

Cable Beach at dawnSo the person I need to be today is calm, confident, and staying on top.
